Longitude is a purpose-built network of specialists, surgeons, and outpatient facilities — a population-driven model based on pre-paid memberships from enrolled employees. Like Direct Primary Care (DPC), Longitude compensates network providers based on a per-member-per-month (PMPM) payment calculated by the number of member enrollments.

This methodology reverses the traditional roles — the company and employee become the true customer paying directly for services. TPA or other claim processing costs are reduced significantly, especially when paired with Direct Primary Care. Services outside Longitude's covered set continue to be addressed under the employee's existing health plan — Longitude does not replace the medical plan.
